FARNHAM DO WELL AT CRYSTAL PALACE

The penultimate weekend saw the Surrey championships move to Crystal Palace where the Club’s medal haul resumed with Richard Hall winning bronze in 200m backstroke in the 14 year old age group with a time of 2:39.24. 

This was followed in the next event by Sarah Taylor gaining silver in the 200m breaststroke in a time of 2:58.60, she followed this up with bronze in the 200m individual medley and 5^th in the 200m backstroke. 

Adenais Vachon carried on her winning ways in the 12 year old age group with gold in the 200m butterfly in a time of 2:50.76, 200m individual medley 2:43.04, 800m freestyle in 10:15.51 and bronze in the 200m backstroke in 2:44.33. 

These were backed up with good swims from Emily Webster, Martyn Smithers and Rhiannon Davies finishing in the top 8. 

The Club is looking forward to the forthcoming relays.
