While the parents were engaged in running the Rother League Junior Trophy gala the swimmers were fighting hard against swimmers from Gosport, Barracudas, Wey Valley and Isle of Wight. There were first places for Charlotte Teague, Girls U12 50 fly 39.60, Joseph Woodlife Boys 9 years 50 breast 56.39, Adenais Vachon Girls U14 50 fly 32.94, 50 free 29.12 and 50 breast 40.77.
These were backed up
by 2nd places from Nathalie Cousins girls 9 years 50 freestyle 40.44,
Rosie Webster Girls U13 50 breast 43.82, Sophie Hart girls U12 50 back 48.64,
Tom Bull boys U11 50 back 48.64, Rhys Davies boys U12 50 fly 42.29 and boys U13
fly 40.42 Joseph Woodlife boys 9 years 25 fly 27.17and 50 back 49.50.
There were also 2nd
places for the 9years medley relay team of Amelia Oury, Joseph Woodlife, Richard
Jefferies and Natalie Cousins; the U11 medley team of James Butcher, Kristie
Stone, Natalie Jones and Jack Peters and the U14 freestyle team of Lucy Primmer,
Tom Curran, Josh Wilmhurst and Adenais Vachon.
These swims were backed up by some creditable performances, with the club finishing third.
