Farnham win at Welsh National Pool Swansea

Six Farnham swimmers Martyn Smithers, David Pallant, Richard Hall, Rhiannon Davies, Fleur Robertson and Adenais Vachon made their way down the M4 to the Welsh National Pool at Swansea for the Swim Swansea Long Course Open Meet held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Considering the early start from home on Friday morning they came away with 3 gold medals Martyn Smithers 17-18 years 800m free, Rhiannon Davies 16-17 years 100m breaststroke, Adenais Vachon 12 years 1500m freestyle; 7 silver medals Martyn 400m free, 200 backstroke and 200m IM, Rhiannon 50m free, 100m fly and 200 IM and David Pallant 15-16 years 200m fly; and gaining 4 bronzes Martyn 100m back and 200m fly, Rhiannon 100m back and Richard Hall 14 years 200m fly. 

Many personal bests were achieved over the weekend.  Although not getting into the awards Fleur swan some good races while studying hard for her GCSEs.
