Surrey Champs - Final weekend

After the trek to crystal palace the swimmers were looking forward to the journey to the spectrum at Guildford for the final weekend of the surrey championships, the weekend getting of to a flying start with Adenais Vachon winning gold in the girls 12 yrs 400m Freestyle in a time of 4.51.02. This was followed by Sarah Taylor with a gold in the girls 13yrs 100m Breaststroke in a time of 1.18.82 and 4th in the 400m IM with a time of 5.29.83, all these being personal best times.

At the end of the individual swims Farnham had three swimmers in the top eight, Adenais coming 1st in the 12yr old girls, Sarah a close 2nd in the 13yr old girls and Richard Hall 8th in the boys 14yr old age group. 

With the individual swims over Sunday was all relays with the best results going to Sarah Taylor, Adenais Vachon, Freya Robertson and Lucy Primmer in the 12-13yr old girls events, Sarah and Adenais were joined by Fleur Robertson and Rhiannon Davies to come 6th and 8th in the 16and under events. The remainder of the teams although not finishing in the top eight swam well gaining many personal best times, the swimmers are looking forward to a short rest before their first league gala on the 18th of March.
